| The Oriental 120 Magill Rd Norwood Review by Aaron $3 steaks on Sunday’s! Yes that’s right $3 steaks on Sunday’s! I’m not sure how long they will have this special on for, but it’s fantastic! Okay you have to pay a whole $1 extra for sides, like sauce, chips, salad and bread, but that still means if you order all that, you are paying $7 for a 200g porterhouse steak, I doubt anywhere else is so cheap! It makes the good ol’ days of the Thursday night $10 Queens Head steaks seem like the Ritz! The Steak is cooked medium and although porterhouse is not my favourite cut of meat… its $3! |
Avatar 3D Review by MrD I absolutely positively definitely did not want to see this movie. Having seen a 2D preview in a cinema I thought it looked lame, stupid and boring. When I found out it was 3 hours long I dug in my heels and said no, no way. After a few days of nagging I gave in, conditionally. I'd only see it in 3D. OK, she said. The 3 hours didn't seem too long, I didn't notice the time. The story was as predictable and preachy as I suspected but it didn't matter. This film is ALL about the special effects - and they are beautiful! Absolutely stunning. You don't need a storyline or great characterisation for a film like this. Just turn off your brain, sit back and enjoy the ride. 8/10 |
